The road up and till now...
Andre started his career in the heart of the trendy cosmopolitan, Cape Town.
During his earlier years, he was a student Cape Town's prestigious 'Cape Technicon', where he studied Fashion Design full time under the careful and well-known eye of Suzie Gordon - also having a fashion studio in Llundudno - just off the coast of Cape Town. Suzie Gordon is a well known designer and gained her degree in Fashion at the 'Royal School of Fashion' in London, England. During Andre's education at 'Cape Technicon', he participated in a number of events organized and planned by the students of his class alongside his lecturers. These fashion shows showcased these young designers to a broader audience and public exposure was well deserved at this very tender age in their careers. Some of these shows were mostly hosted by the 'Victoria & Alfred Waterfront' - adorned by 'fashion lovers', clothing experts and fashion critics.
The most noted of these shows was the 'Cape Tech Fashion Week'. Andre proved to his classmates and lecturers that he had the talent to conceptualize his own style - his own energy! The show was a success on multiple levels.
Over the last couple of years Andre has also gained invaluable knowledge of the jeweler's trade in both South Africa and abroad. This fundamental element makes some of his creations a sight to be beheld. He is mostly inspired by Diamonds, Swarovski Crystals, Fresh Water Pearls and Vintage Elements. He's designs are simply nothing more nor less than utter 'couture' and he delivers each garment with equal enthusiasm.
